Tournament Organizer 1.0.2 available

Tournament Organizer has recently been tested during a regional championship with 44 players. This stress test has revealed a serious performance issue with the first round pairing. The 1.0.2 version fixes this issue. It also includes the number of the tables players are assigned to, and some minor bug fixes.

  1. Congratulations! Great App, nice clean look, easy to use, quick ... it just "doesn't work", at least not the version i just downloaded two day ago.
I've used it yesterday in a small (6 people) tournament and since everything was "running" well i didn't notice anything wrong. But once at home, out of curiosity, i put the results of the tournament in the program that we usually use and it turns out that the 4th & 5th place where wrong.
How is possible that a player with 1 victory, 2 loses and 202 points destroyed is under one with the same amount of victories/loses but only 153 points destroyed?
Is it possible i did something wrong?
    Was this a "bug"?
How is calculated the ranking and the SoS?
I really like the App and I sincerely would like to use it for future tournaments but if if makes mistakes like this could be a big problem, this time was among friends and i was the affected one (not receiving a price for not being in the top 4) so no big deal.
I hope that you could check this issue and get back to me with an answer.
Thank you for your work and time.
    V.

    1. Hi!
The strength of schedule is the sim of the scores of a player's opponents. This is the first criteria used to break ties. I guess the 4th player had a stronger SoS than the 5th player.
When the SoS cannot break a tie, then the net destroyed points is used.
The SoS is used to represent the difficulty of a tournament so that if 2 players have the same score, the first one is the player who had the most difficult adversaries.
      Cheers,

      Axel

    2. Per the tournament rules, margin of victory (points destroyed - points lost + 100) is the first tiebreaker. SoS is the second tiebreaker.
